I think it looks best in normal trim (not F-Sport).
The interior looks like a great place to be.
And it's much more unique than a 3-series.

My girlfriend's younger brother has this car in that beautiful dark blue. It's an amazing place to be and "sport" mode is, well, actually sporty. It lets you get to redline and makes some very pleasant noises. And paddle shifters are so much fun (though too smooth for my taste)! I prefer the F-Sport trim, but AWD is very helpful during northeaster winters.

If only you could get the 3.5 with a stick.

I think the IS looks right in grey/black/dark blue with the F-Sport trim. The rest...Barf.

Yes, but the grill is a bit much.

Tree fiddy.
It looks like this one, but with black interior
and these wheels
It looks fucking awesome. I am perpetually jealous.

It seems as though you're conflicted, because this interior is ONLY available in the F-Sport guise.
Luckily for me, I love the IS 350, but only in the F-sport guise, which gives me the better interior.
I'm glad there's someone else on this board who likes the car though.

Oh, I'm pretty sure this is a non F-Sport.

Yep, you can tell by the gauge cluster, as well as the fact there are aluminum inserts on the door rests. Those are only available on the F-Sport trim.

Agreed. These are fantastic looking. I bet a regular IS would be a superb daily driver.

I liked the first gen IS much better. I didn't own one but I was close. Fun feature: push your right foot down, and more speed magically appeared, with no fanfare, no drama, not much of anything except "oh look, we're going faster now - neat." Least favorite attribute: Brown-green LCD displays on the cluster, clock, radio, all that. Yuck.
